Long Course State Meet is just around the corner!

All MPSC swimmers can participate in the 2009 Long Course State Meet. Meet agreements and meet information are posted on our meet info page. Forms are due on July 9th!

Zach Lierley survived the USA Swimming Zone Select Camp at the University of Louisville! Luckily, Coach Liz was one of the assistant coaches to make sure that Zach was ready to be challenged! Along with 55 other athletes from around the southeast, Zach trained really hard, went to meetings, and had some fun! The University of Lousiville was a great host and had a great Natatorium. If your swimmer is interested in learning how to qualify for a select camp, please go to the USA Swimming website. Some quick facts for you...

Eligibility for Select Camp:

1. Long Course Times Only, 2. Must be a US Citizen, 3. Previous camp experience

4. IMX scores are selected before individuals, 5.fastest remaining eligible qualifier

The Long Course Practice Schedule is also out! Click HERE to read it. We will start this schedule on June 8th.

The Mount Pleasant Swim Club has almost reached maximum capacity. We only have a few spots left for each group.

We also have a non-competitive program called the Minnows for 12 and Under swimmers. For 13 and older swimmers we have anon-competitive group called the sharks.

Times for practice and fees can be found in the fall brochure at either the Jones Center or Park West.

ALL MPSC members are welcome. We hope that throughout the course of a year you attend at least one of the MPSCPA meetings. This is a great place to get involved with the team and learn more about MPSC.

Volunteering is a very important part of any year round swim club. MPSC swimmers and families benefit from parent involvement. In order for MPSC to be truly successful, volunteering is vital. Please do your part to help your swimmers have a great experience with MPSC.

SC Swimming Top Ten List. This list is compiled on a regular basis, and is usually updated on the SC Swimming website.

"NEW STANDARDS, NEW HEIGHTS" MPSC'S INTRO 2007-2008 DOWNLOAD FULL-SCREEN VERSION (42 mb PC only)		MPSC Alumni - Will Clark, Randy Buchanan, and Carrie Ford MPSC Alumni - Will Clark, Randy Buchanan, and Carrie Ford are participating in collegiate swimming. Will Clark has joined the Clemson Tigers and has already made a nice impression. Randy Buchanan is swimming at the College of Charleston, and has just started his junior year. Carrie Ford starts her sophomore year at Indiana University at Purdue University. We wish them all of the best!
