The Mount
Pleasant Swim Club is a non-profit, competitive, year
round program designed to provide any swimmer the opportunity
to participate within the structure of the Mount Pleasant
Recreation Department and USA
Swimming. The Manatees are
divided into five groups based on a swimmer’s age
and ability.
Mission: Our mission
is to provide our swimmers with the tools necessary
to achieve personal excellence through the process
of goal setting, hard work, and commitment.
Vision: Our vision is to
build a culture and create traditions that provide the environment
necessary to become a recognized leader in USA Swimming at all
levels.
NEW
SWIMMERS
The Mount
Pleasant Swim Club is a COMPETITIVE program, and we are
preparing swimmers to participate in meets and achieve personal
swimming goals.
New swimmer
evaluations for the Mount Pleasant Swim Club
Manatees will be held during the last week in August from
August 23 - 26, 2010 from 4:30 - 5:30pm at Park West. Please
come at 4:30pm. After evaluations, the MPSC coaching staff
will place your swimmer into an appropriate group.
Registration information will be provided after
evaluations.
If you are looking for NON-COMPETITIVE swimming,
please check out our Minnows program (offered at the Jones
Center and Park West pools September - May). You can
sign up at any of our facilities. Swimmers must be able to
swim one length of the pool to join, and you do not need to be
evaluated.
If you have any
questions, please email Liz Campell at liz@mountpleasantswimclub.com.
