Word of caution - some sites (i.e. hotels.com,
expedia.com charge a fee on top of that hotel’s rates. In
most instances it is better to go directly through the hotel
site.
Word of advice - instead of contacting the
location hotel for prices, sometimes the corporate hotel site may
be offering discounts. As an example, hilton.com many times offers Specials
& Packages under its umbrella of hotels. However, if you called
a hotel location directly it would not offer that discount. Other
brand corporate hotel sites do the
same.
