PRACTICE SCHEDULE

BLUE 

Practice Times:    

Monday - Thursday                  5:30 – 6:30pm Jones Center

Friday                                    3:30 – 4:15pm Park West 

Requirements

a. Swimmer should be capable of swimming 25 yards of each of the four competitive strokes.

b. Swimmer should be capable of swimming 100 yards of continuous freestyle.

c. Swimmer will be a registered USA swimmer and pay MPSCPA fees.

d. Swimmer must be at least 5 years of age.

Orange 

Practice Times:

Monday/ Wednesday               4:15 – 5:30pm Jones Center

Tuesday/ Thursday                 4:00 – 5:30pm Jones Center

Friday                                   4:00 – 5:00pm Park West

Requirements

a. Swimmer should be legal in all four competitive strokes.

b. Swimmer should be capable of swimming 100 yards of each stroke continuously.

c. Swimmer will be a registered USA swimmer and pay MPSCPA fees.

d. Swimmer must be at least 9 years of age.

Pre-Senior

Practice Times:

Monday-Thursday                   6:00 – 7:30pm Park West

Friday                                   4:15 – 6:45pm Park West

Saturday                                7:00 – 9:00am Jones Center

Requirements

a. Swimmer should be able to complete workouts 1.5 to 2 hours in length.

b. Swimmer will be a registered USA swimmer and pay MPSCPA fees.

c. Swimmer must attend 3 practices per week.

d. Swimmer must be at least 11 years of age. 

Senior 

Practice Times:

Monday – Thursday                     4:00 – 6:30pm Park West

Friday                                       4:15 – 6:45pm Park West

Mount Pleasant Aerobic & Fitness (MPAF)

**Morning practice is a privilege for senior swimmers, and senior swimmers must create a schedule which is to be approved by the head coach before attending. **

Requirements

a. Swimmer should be able to complete workouts 2 to 2 1/2 hours in length.

b. Swimmer will be a registered USA swimmer and pay MPSCPA fees.

c. Swimmers must attend 5 practices per week.

d. Swimmers must be at least 13 years of age.

Senior Elite ( Invite only)

Senior Elite is a highly intense and highly committed training group.  Senior Elite swimmers are expected to be committed to achieving personal goals, and are expected to be leaders on the team.  Practice requirements and meets are serious, and are expected to be treated that way.  Year round swimming should be the main focus for swimmers who participate in the senior elite group all year long.  Other organized athletic activities should not interfere with the training regiment (excluding high school swimming).

Requirements

a. Swimmer must be able to complete workouts 2 to 2 1/2 hours in length.

b. Swimmer must be capable of training at a demanding level in terms of trainingintervals, practice commitment, hard work, and will.

c. Swimmer will be a registered USA swimmer and pay MPSCPA fees.

d. Swimmer must attend 8 practices per week.

e. Swimmer must be at least 14 years old.
